Eastern Regional Sales Manager

Job Description: The Eastern Regional Sales Manager is a full-time, salaried position and will manage wholesale, retail, and on-premise accounts in the east coast territory, currently comprised of the following states: SC, GA, NC, TN, DC, DE, MD, NY, and NJ. The person in this position will plan, organize, and implement sales initiatives to meet financial and corporate growth objectives.  This individual will also be responsible for growing and managing a market-specific brand ambassador program.


  • Work with management team to develop overall sales strategy and budget goals
  • Utilize an entrepreneurial spirit to create new opportunities to increase sales volume and market penetration
  • Assist in negotiating and managing pricing and business terms with distributor management
  • Act as primary contact for distributor sales teams to ensure they are informed of brand objectives and programs including presenting at sales meetings, riding with sales personnel, and distributing new sales materials
  • Observe competitive market activity and evaluate distributor execution against brand initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records regarding distributor profiles, organizational structures, and competitive brand alignments
  • Represent brands at distributor trade shows and consumer facing events
  • Hire, train, and mentor subordinate sales staff to create consistent brand messaging and professionalism
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date sales notes on existing and target accounts
  • Prepare monthly reporting documents in a timely fashion
  • Manage all T&E expenses and local budgets for markets
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable of all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the market and keep management informed of all information pertaining to changes

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • At least five years of proven B2B sales management experience in the alcohol beverage industry with strategic regional development
  • Ability to grow in terms of leadership and personnel management as company expands
  • Professionalism within alcoholic beverage environment with expected sobriety
  • A passion for premium spirits and a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and budget management skills
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Consideration will be given first to qualified candidates in the following metro markets: Atlanta, DC, New York, Raleigh, Charlotte, Boston
